How a Professional Can Help You Feel More Content and Connected to Your Partner Again

My name is Kate Burns, and I specialize in helping individuals and couples who are in pain in their relationship and who want to feel better.

  • Do you long to be cherished, loved and cared about again?
  • Has all the fighting taken a toll on you?
  • Do you still love your partner but wonder if the hurt or anger you feel can ever go away?

Relational pain can make everything seem like an effort. You may have reached out, hoping to re-establish contact, to feel less isolated, depressed or alone, only to feel rejected. Or you may be waiting, hoping your partner will take that step toward you.

You want to experience the loving feelings you both once shared, but the connection that made them possible seems gone forever.

This disconnect makes everyday living hard. You find yourself needing to be right, taking opposite sides on all kinds of things, both big and small. Where you once discussed things or maybe just disagreed, now everything is a battle.

  • Financial priorities, money
  • Parenting Styles
  • Who does what in the household
  • Intimacy and time together

Your stress level may be so high you feel exhausted or have physical symptoms. You may be asking yourself whether you should stay or leave, thinking that by leaving, you could at least have some peace, and could stop “working on it.”

Now, you can make a different decision. You can discover and master the skills that people who have enjoyed satisfying, long term relationships say are keys to their success.

Couples Counseling Can Help You Build a Relationship that has Joy, Intimacy and Resilience.

Contact me, I would like to help you.  I specialize in helping people who are in pain in their relationships and who want to feel better.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has shown countless couples how to create better relationships than they had to start out with - ones that are more genuine, loving, responsive and joyful. Ones that support each person’s growth, and are based on mutual appreciation and acceptance.
